MENON is a European innovation and research network providing information and advice to policy makers, education communities, and the ICT industry on issues related to innovation and changes in Education and training, Lifelong Learning and Knowledge Society developments in Europe and worldwide. Among the areas of expertise, there are management of transnational projects on elearning, R&D in the field of emerging technologies for education, research into value-oriented and innovative use of ICT, and development of useful ICT applications and services of better quality. MENON plays a key role in important European organisations, like the European Foundation for Quality in eLearning and the European Distance and eLearning Network. MENON members are: The Lambrakis Research Foundation, SCIENTER, The Tavistock Institute, Lifelong Learning Institute Dipoli at Helsinki University of Technology, and The Centre for Learning Innovation and Adult Learning at Budapest University.

Fabio Nascimbeni – Fabio Nascimbeni has a degree in Economics with an international business management specialisation, and is finishing a PHD on ICT for Development in the Knowledge Society. In his present position of Director of the MENON Network, he is in charge of business development, coordination of international working groups, policy advisory and strategic consultancy. He has coordinated a number of research projects in the fields of e-learning and lifelong learning, as well as a number of international collaboration actions in fields spanning from Science and Technology, ICT research, information society development, educational research. Among his areas of expertise: Innovation in eLearning, Quality of eLearning and International cooperation.
